Portsmouth Tweet Up

Tweet Up  (n.)  A real world meeting between two or more people who know each other through the online Twitter service.

I’m looking forward to Thursday night’s Portsmouth Tweet-up.  At least 70 people will be joining us at 7pm inside The Red Door on State Street in Portsmouth, NH. It’s the first Tweet Up I have organized – I cannot wait to meet everyone.  I’m actually damn excited about this event and hope it leads to more Tweet-ups or Twestivals in the future.  I’ve also been asked, “What can one expect at a Tweet Up?”

Besides a lot of fun – we’ll have a few drinks, discuss technology, social media, listen to some hip new music, network with some amazing local and regional professionals working across a variety of industries, including Education and the Hi-Tech sector.  You never know who you’re going to meet and what new opportunities might come your way!
