Saturday was spent playing four soccer matches in sunny Amesbury, MA at the Amesbury Sports Park. It was part of the Aztec Boston 7 versus 7 C0-Ed Soccer Tournament and our team had fun. We ended up going 0-3-1, losing three close contests and tying the green German team 1-1. We handled the play more, had a lot more shots on net, but ended up on the shorter end of the score board in three fun-filled matches. The sponsor of the tournament ended up winning, which rubbed a few the wrong way, but when it came down to it – the day was full of soccer, exercise, and sunburns. I’m looking forward to the next contest in August. See you then!
